RAE is a flower farm and florist in Northumberland’s Tyne Valley. Owned and run by horticulture and flower expert Katherine Evans-Smith who trained and practiced in horticulture, hospitality and professional forest management. We established as a flower farm through a genuine passion for growing truly beautiful flowers, and a desire for as many people as possible to enjoy locally and naturally grown, fresh and seasonal great British Blooms; whether this is for your wedding, event or other special occasion, or a seasonal gift for a loved one. Katherine loves plants and grows from the heart, and with experience in wedding and event floristry, enjoys nothing more than creating the freshest gorgeous floral arrangements.

We prefer nature to take its course; we don't use pesticides, insecticides, fungicides or hormones, and rely as much as possible on our own made compost (another passion of Katherine's). Usually harvested within 24 hours of delivery, and without those chilly international airmiles your blooms will last longer than others and maintain their scent (if they boast this super power).

Being a British grower we are incredibly proud to provide gorgeous seasonal products; this means availability changes from week to week - this is nothing but exciting!

Sustainability continues from our farm into your floristry.

Our floral mechanics are foam-free and reusable, packaging is paper based, and owing to the short time between field and vase, we don’t need to use flower food.

    Katherine was absolutely brilliant for our wedding. I gave her quite a vague brief but she took the time to ask lots of questions and create a beautiful display of colourful wildflowers. She did our table flowers which were minimalist in stem vases and large vases for the end of the aisle on plinths. My bouquet was a waterfall, exactly what I wanted which complimented the bridesmaids bouquets and button holes.
